How to add a certificate in Training Courses
- From the sign-in page, enter the username and password.
- Login into the dashboard.
- From the dashboard, go to Products
- Select Training Courses
- You will be taken to the Booking Summary dashboard.
- From Summary, Select Training Courses
- This section will list all the courses created on this platform
- Click on the three dots across the training course required
- Click on the Edit button
- You will be taken to the page where you can see five steps such as General, Website, Registration, Certificate & Performance and Email templates.
- Click on Certificate & Performance
- On scrolling down you will see certificate options
- Click on Download sample certificate
- Therefore the sample certificate will be downloaded to your system in docx format.
- The below-shown variables such as StudentName, CourseName, Grade, Course,
completion date, Result, InstructionName, ExpiryDate are the Certificate Variables that can be added to the certificate if required as shown below.
- Clicking on any of the certificate variables will copy the variable to the Clipboard.
- Now using the copied variable, a user can open the downloaded certificate which is available in the docx format.
- The certificate will get opened in MS Word.
- Click on the Insert option
- Select Quick Parts (icon shown below)
- Select Field.
- Therefore a window pops up
- Select category as Mail merge.
- Select the field name as Merge field.
- The field property box appears.
- Paste the variable which was copied to the field property box.
- Click on OK
- The variable that you typed will appear on the certificate as shown below.
- You can add connecting words normally in between the sentences as shown below.
- In order to change or apply any font on the System variable, select the corresponding system variable along with the <<>> symbols as shown below and click on the font which you need to apply ( Home ->
- Once you have made all the changes, click on File from the top left corner and save the docx certificate to your system.
- To upload the edited certificate into the platform, click on Upload Certificate
- Click on the certificate so that a tick mark appears for the same.
- Click on Save and Close.
How to add a certificate in Events
